In Psalm 34, we began last week on a new series.

We're calling the life of praise.

And praise and thanksgiving and worship affects the environment and the atmosphere.

The psalma said God inhabits the praises of Israel. And we are

today the Israel of God, the New Testament says. God inhabits. Well, what does that mean? Well,

he manifests himself in that kind of expression and environment.

In our text here in Psalm 34, if you found it, Psalm 34,

let's read it out loud together, these first three verses.

Before we do, let's pray just a little bit further.

Release our faith.

How many know that utterance and service is not just all up to the preacher?

I mean, they have their part.

But I shouldn't just come and look at you, and you shouldn't just come and look at me.

Right? We should have our eyes, our heart

on the Lord, right, looking to him, waiting on him, listening to him. So, Father, we thank

you so much for the privilege of being your children and your people.

We come together tonight before you reverencing your spirit.

All you've done, the redemptive work of our Lord and Master Jesus, reverencing your word,

your spirit, who is our teacher and our guide. we ask and agree together as touching this thing

about utterance tonight and about direction we ask for everybody for eyes that see and ears that

hear grant us lord the the revelation the illustrations the the comparisons, the applications, the application, the understanding.

And we'll not be forgetful hearers, but by your grace we'll be doers,
