Folks, welcome to another one of our political chats in which Dan and I are going to be discussing whatever it is that's happening in the Labour Party.

Because something very interesting is happening in the Labour Party and it's been very public, but there's a kind of opacity to events that I think a lot of people aren't really seeing the underlying motions and

realizing what these things actually mean. Well, I think a lot of it's quite obvious,

even though they refuse to expand on any of it. We just have no... Stama has consistently failed

to offer his motives for doing almost anything that he's done.

Yes.

Which is getting him to trouble at the moment now because he's talking about rules and procedures,

but he's not talking about it is why I did any of these things in the first place.

Yeah.

And the thing is, there's a lot of circumstantial evidence that surrounds Stama

and the networks of which he is a part that suggests

there may have been motives behind it all after all. He just can't really say it in public.

No. Well, definitely some of the stuff. I mean, I can only imagine where you were going to go with this, but if you've

included everything that I'm thinking of, no, he definitely can't talk about all of it. Well, we'll

see. And we'll see how the factions in Labour are dealing with this. Yes. I think it's very,

very interesting, actually. So you remember that last week, Stama had to address Parliament over

the vetting decision surrounding Peter Mandelson. And he looks kind of terrified, frankly. And look at his body language there. Well, I heard about it. I haven't watched this yet. Are we going to watch much of this? We're not going to watch it. I'm just going to talk about it. But you can see the faces on Richard Reeves and David Lammy there.

Stama's body language is quite small and defensive,

and he looked frankly terrified throughout this whole thing. Well, Rachel Reeves is sitting there like an eagid king child spaniel waiting to

waiting to die.

Lammy looks like he's just miserable.

Yeah, Lammy looks like he sat outside the headmistress's office.
