I'm Aron, and today we're talking season one, episode two. It's titled Infected.

Aron, we've seen this a couple of times now. How do you feel?

Yeah, it's a great episode. I have heard through the grapevine from people who have seen it that the

the general sentiment is like if you think these first two episodes are good way until you get the

episode three, but like these are really good episodes. So I guess I'm really ready to be blown

the fuck away by next week. But this is a great episode. All of the things that I was hoping

would happen in terms of they'd capture the tension of, you know, the action elements of this game,

the scaryness of the monsters, the zombies, the tents, quiet moments, the character beats, the

loss, all that stuff. And what I, you know, I'm also on top of that getting, you know, like backstory

that we don't even get in the game, which I think, you know, I know you had some some mixed

feelings about it, but I really appreciate and I just can't, I just can't get over how gorgeous

the visuals are. How, you know, I was thinking they would get kind of close or whatever, but so far

when they're walking around these bombed out like, you know, Boston's city centers, they just look

utterly real and convincing. They literally look like things out of the video game, which already

looked fairly lifelike, you know, in the terms of the tech. I can only think of the the remastered

versions, but they're just like utterly convincing and real. And, you know, I love sometimes the

contrast between like what a beautiful day it is when they're walking through downtown Boston
