I'm Todd Hampton here with my buddy Jeff Kinley. And today we're going to share the title with you in a second, but we're talking about,

have you ever had an experience where you go to pick something up that's pretty small? Like maybe it's tennis ball size.

And you go to pick it up and the things as heavy as a bowling ball.

Well, today we're talking about an often overlooked heavy hitter of the Old Testament in one of the minor prophets.

Jeff, why don't you tell them what we're going to be talking about today?

Yeah, we're going to be talking and addressing this whole topic of the last days according to Zechariah the prophet.

And this is a very exciting thing. You know, as you were saying

that, Todd, I started thinking about, you used to have these little baseball cards that we used.

Oh, these are our heroes, you know, that we put them up on our wall or collect them. It's like,

these guys are heroes. These are the legends of the Old Testament. And they had significant

ministry back in their day. And yet they're often overlooked because many of these Old Testament books here are sort of shorter chapters, you know.

And so people tend to kind of skip over them.

And you're flipping through your Bible, you can miss two or three prophets with one flip, you know.

So it's important that we just pull over in part and talk about this important guy named

Zachariah.

So, Todd, where does Zachariah fall in the timeline of Israel?

Where do we find this guy?

Yeah, that's a great question because I think one thing that does trip people up is they look

at how the prophets are organized in the Old Testament.

And you have the major prophets and the minor

prophets. So Zechariah is one of the minor prophets. And they think, oh, the major ones are the
