So I think I've had some siblings on and I've had a parent and child on at different

times, but you are my first. I've had your husband on the show, John Androsick, big fan,

Five for Fighting. And now I'm talking to you, which I'm so excited about. Welcome.

It's so much fun. I mean, just that our story keeps evolving and changing so i love that

happy you know he's so generous he's so supportive of me which is great he seems really fantastic

we've never met in person i'm going to have to meet you both at some point. But tell me about your new book, Stop Trying. You were in the music business and you're a speaker and an author. What made you write a book about no longer trying?

You know, when I was in the music business for 25 years, it was like, it's like selling ice to Eskimos.

I mean, there's so much competition.

My job was placing songs with recording artists.

So, you know, there were 10 songs on an album and there were thousands of people.

And you can't try.

You know, you have to have a very strong mindset.
