Wednesday marked day seven of the second murder trial of Karen Reid, a Massachusetts woman

accused of killing her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe. On Tuesday, Judge Beverly

Kenone announced that key crash reconstruction experts will be allowed to testify in defense

of Karen Reed, as they did during the first trial. Wednesday's session

featured continued testimony from Jennifer McCabe, a star witness for the prosecution.

McCabe is a friend of the couple and a sister-in-law to Brian Albert, one of the men whom the defense

alleged was involved in the death of John O'Keefe. Joining me now from

outside the courthouse in Boston is Fox News correspondent Molly Line. Molly, thank you so much for

joining the Fox True Crime podcast today. Yes, happy to be with you, Emily. Thanks for having me.

So what are your impressions as you've been following the second trial?

Well, I watch the first trial as well, and here we are at the second trial. And I can say one of the

things that's interesting is Karen Reed has had this following, groups of supporters dressed in pink

outside of the courthouse, sort of cheering for her and claiming that she is innocent. And in this trial, things are much more

shut down outside of the courthouse. There's a larger buffer zone, far fewer of her supporters

outside of the courthouse. Inside, one of the key witnesses was on the stand today, Jennifer

McCabe. She was at the late night gathering, the late night party, where Karen Reid claimed she dropped John O'Keefe off.

And she had a lot to say.

She also is under some pretty tough cross-examination from the defense lawyers, Alan Jackson.

And tell us about the lens of this trial, Molly.

You know, much has been made about the decision, for example, of the crash reconstruction.

Is it indeed a blow to the prosecution? Does it seem already to be sort of going down a certain path?
