So we're broadening our scope a bit on this episode. I'm your host, Gibson Johns. And today on the show, we have Josh Duboff, who used to be a senior writer at Vanity Fair. And he hosted a podcast for them, and now he is the author of

early 30s, which is a great new novel, which comes out tomorrow, March 18th, available to

big housewives guy, he does know a lot about pop culture and celebrities, and he's interviewed everyone

from Taylor Swift to Gwanaith Paltrow and beyond, and he's interviewed everyone from Taylor Swift to

Gweth Paltrow and beyond. And he also wrote this article about the Kardashians during his time

at Vanity Fair towards the end of keeping up with the Kardashians run. And I still think about

that article a lot. And I bring it up in our talk and it sort of used as a jumping off point to talk

about where that family is now, the status of

their current show. He really, really knows his stuff and he writes and he's written some

really great celebrity journalism. And we started our conversation off talking about his time

working in celebrity journalism and online media and kind of comparing notes because I have also

obviously done that for a lot of my career.

And we talked about some changes that we have observed there, which is also pertinent because

one of the main characters in early 30s, his book works in a very similar role to what Josh

did at Vanity Fair. So it's also core to the book. And then after that, we got into the Kardashians.
