Okay, hello all, and welcome to our third and final

Thomistic Institute lecture of the semester.

My name is Danny Kelly, and I am the president of the

Timistic Institute at Rochester, where we are an affiliate of the

undergraduate philosophy council.

The Timistic Institute is an academic institute which works to

promote the Catholic intellectual tradition in the modern world,

especially on college campuses, with an emphasis on the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas.

We are very fortunate today to welcome a top-notch scholar on St. Thomas Aquinas, Professor Adam Eiddle of the University of Dallas.

Professor Idle joined the University of Dallas Department of Theology this year.

Previously, he taught for eight years at Yale University, where he held appointments

in the Divinity School, the program for medieval studies, and the humanities program. His research

focuses on Christian morality and theology, and he is a specialist in medieval scholasticism.

The lecture will be about 45 minutes followed by a 15-minute

question and answer session. Please take a moment to silence all devices and
