This is a good story.

Ha!

There's a group of residents who live near the intersection of Midvale and Pico in Los Angeles.

We've had them on periodically because Karen Bass and their city councilwoman,

Katie R. Slavski, was forcing a homeless facility to be built. It's the Rancho Pico neighborhood,

and the neighborhood erupted and the business owners erupted.

And in fact, the lot that they were going to use is a parking lot that the businesses need, because parking is not plentiful in that area.

And so they were going to turn the parking lot to construct this homeless facility,

spend $4.5 million.

It was only going to be 33 units.

Anyway, it looks like the construction has stopped.

They filed a lawsuit.

And at the moment, there is a temporary restraining order.
