We had Kevin DeLeon in yesterday. And he was, he's the city councilman.

And, you know, we have been, well, first thing he said is, boy, you guys, I gave you guys

a lot of material. It's true, he did. I would think for almost 20 years, he gave us enormous amounts of material.

Don't have the time to go into all the details, but yeah, he was a favorite target of our show all this time.

So he comes in yesterday. He was in the building to record some public service announcements, and we had an interesting talk about the homeless situation.

Now, as he says,

and he was detailed in his explanation that he's doing stuff to get people off the streets, like building these relatively cheap, you know, tiny homes, these 64 square foot homes. And he's using city land and he's getting them, you know, off the

streets and the sidewalks and out of the parks. And they're living on city land away from residential

areas in the tiny homes. All right, that's a good thing. I mean, me, I'd force them all on buses, and I'd drive about 15 hours and leave them somewhere in the middle of Texas or New Mexico or wherever 15 hours takes you.

That's what I would do.

But I'm not in charge.

All right, so he's giving them tiny homes.

He's doing it at a small, small fraction of the cost that Eric Garcetti with his million dollar apartments.

So by coincidence today, there's a story because DeLeon has Skid Row in his district and Times has a story by Ruben Vives.

About thousands are being housed by L.A. County as they make progress on Skid Row with their own program. And they're trying to

house 2,500 people with health and drug treatment and related services in that neighborhood,
