What you missed last hour is we talked with Bill Jones.

He's the Senate minority leader, and he detailed what happened last night.

Gavin Newsom pulled his phony bologna proposition to muck up our repeal of Prop 47.

Newsom had taken three shots at derailing the rewrite of Prop 47 that almost a million people signed petitions to vote on in November.

Almost a million people signed petitions saying we want to vote to rewrite Prop 47.

Bring back retail theft crimes, bring back drug use crimes and offer them treatment.

And let's start coming up with fentanyl trafficking crimes, felonies for the first time.

That's what much of the public wants. It polls

better than 70%. And Newsom and those idiot Democrats in the legislature, they don't want to put

criminals in prison. They don't want mass incarceration. Well, they got their heads handed to them

because three times they tried maneuvers sneaky, sneaky,

dirty political maneuvers with poison pills. And the last one was a referendum that had poison

pills in it that was going to confuse everybody about the repeal of Prop 47. And Newsom couldn't

get enough support in his own party. He needed two-thirds vote because this was so

badly managed. They'd blown through a deadline and they had to declare some kind of an emergency
