Alex Stone, ABC News, you know, in certain parts of L.A.

and in other wealthy areas, maybe in New York, you might see a fair number of electric cars

in the neighborhood.

But most of the country has said to electric cars.

And there's a lot of people who will never buy an electric car.

At least that's what they're saying today.

And Alex has got a story on this.

So that's what a new poll out today is saying.

And yeah, here in California, you're kind of the odd man out at the stoplight if you're not in a Tesla or Rivian.

And there's a big disparity depending

on where one lives of what they see. And you can kind of think that, well, everybody is living

like this. And this is what it's like everywhere. But you go to much of the country. And EVs are

rare to see. We were in Alabama and Georgia a couple weeks ago. And once you get out of Atlanta,

there is not an electric vehicle anywhere.
