Let's start with Matt Gates.

You may have heard Matt Gates, who was a Florida congressman up until a few days ago,

he was nominated to be Trump's Attorney General, and he has withdrawn from consideration.

It's pretty clear he didn't have the votes in the Senate. And this is swirling around him are investigations about his sex life, going to

drug and sex orgies, including his relationship with a 17-year-old girl.

So he was investigated for sex trafficking by the Justice Department.

They did not press any charges, but there was still another investigation by the House Ethics Committee,

which had yet to be released.

I guess it's a surprise maybe that it happened so quickly.

I had always wondered if the former congressman would want to go through with a public hearing,

given all of these allegations had been swirling for so long,

and this ethics report was lingering out there,

and he just so happened to, you know, resign right before it would come out.
