because Debra and I have been calling each other about the temperatures we find on the 101.

I almost called you again. It was 120 at one point. You hit 120? Yes, I did. Yeah, I was going to call you, but then somebody

else called me. Yeah, I was at 118, but I got off the freeway to go south on the 405. Okay.

So it was one of you kept going to Woodland Hills and you hit 120. Yeah, it was Encino, I believe.

Yeah. Yeah. I figured that. Now, it was, it was 90 on the west side at 10 in the morning.

Okay, I was driving here in the 9 o'clock hour.

And when I got here, it was 98.

98.

98 at 930-ish.

108 when I showed up here at about 1215.

There's, well, I, you know, but the thing is the Alley Times came out with, I think,

about six stories on the climate change, right?

Today, I guess to celebrate this 100 degree heat.

And I looked into the record books, and this is entirely normal.

This is not a big deal to get 100 degree heat in September in Los Angeles.

And I'm going to get into that in a few minutes.

The heat also comes with wildfires.

And we got a doozy of a wildfire in the San Bernardino Mountains south of Lake Hourhead started near the town of Highland.

There's also a second one in the Angeles National Forest, north of Glendora.

We've got Blake Trolley at the one in San Bernardino County, which blew up to 20,000 plus acres.
