but it's a good way to get track of everything that we do here because every, well, not

everything is important, but a lot of it is. Coming up next hour, and this is important, because

this has been happening kind of in the background. It's one of those

stories that's really important, but nobody covers it. We have a very old county jail.

It's called Men's Central Jail. And five years ago, the L.A. County Board of Supervisors, they had a plan to build a new one.

They had a jail-like mental health facility.

Well, five years ago, they scrapped that plan and they were just going to

close the men's central jail without building a replacement. Now, this is a historically

horrible, awful decision that this crowd made. I mean, it's just unconscionably stupid. They have an old

jail, and I haven't been there, but I'll take their word for it. It's run down, dilapidated,

needs to be replaced. Then build a new jail. And if you want to call it a mental health facility

or have part of it, deal with mental health issues.

Go right ahead.

They claim that a lot of the prisoners have mental health problems.
