And I looked down just now, I went to the bathroom in the break, and I had like 14 texts of screen grabs of explaining the off sides and the US

unbelievable unbelievable but there you have it now another thing I know he would

definitely text me about so anybody who's not a hockey fan this is not really a hockey topic so bear with us

But there is something going on with the New York Rangers right now that I don't think I've ever seen in sports, Tiki, and I want to try to like paint the picture and lay it all out to you for professional laughing.

And let me just start with the basis of this.

In the history of me watching, covering, and being a fan of professional sports. I have never seen a player

threatened to not go somewhere in a trade because of his wife's job all right and this is not well I mean they

can essentially not go somewhere because of his wife whatever the circumstances

are kids family etc but to threaten to not go somewhere is like

preemptively do right is crazy that is very unique so for anybody listening who knows what I'm talking

about but maybe doesn't know the full story anybody listen doesn't know what I'm

talking about here's the deal the rangers captain Jacob truba is making a ton of

money in hockey terms he's not making jason tatum money but in hockey terms, he's not making Jason Tatum money,

but in hockey terms, he's making $8 million average annual value on year,

which is a lot on the ranger's salary cap.
