The IRS will begin cutting about 6,000 employees tomorrow.

The New York Times reports the terminations will target new hires

as the Trump administration led by the Department of Government Efficiency

looks for ways to cut federal spending.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is not happy with the cuts,

which have included elimination of key federal programs. They're just using a meat axe and cutting

everything, including many things that American families need, want, and approve of.

out how we can do things better. The IRS employs about 100,000 accountants, lawyers, and other

staff across the country. This as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered senior leaders of

plans for 8% cuts in the defense budget in each of the next five years. President Trump ratcheting

up criticism of Ukraine's president as the U.S. and Russia begin talks on ending the invasion of

Velodomar Zelensky better move fast or he is not going to have a country left, calling

Zelensky a dictator in accusing him of keeping the gravy train going. It comes a day

after President Trump suggested Ukraine is at fault for Russia's invasion nearly three years ago.
