I was here for something a bit more conservative.

As Notre Dame eventually puts away Navy, I don't think the game was in doubt really for more than 10 minutes in the first quarter.

And ultimately, Notre Dame pulls away when it's 346.

Matt, I think is defensively on point as I've seen Notre Dame all season.

And maybe as defensively on point as I've seen Notre Dame ever against Navy.

You know, you think of some of these series and these games in the series,

and it seems like Navy always gets Notre Dame at some point.

But today, longest run 32 yards, they average under three yards per carry if you take that out.

Actually, they just average three yards per carry anyway.

A really dominant performance.

You know, how much gets replicated moving forward against Virginia?

I don't know, but certainly Notre Dame comes out of this feeling better about itself

defensively.

And I thought, you know, some of the commentary from Brian Kelly

and the players after the game,

they don't think they had played all that well so far this season,
