The Hello and welcome to this very special bonus episode of the evolution of horror.

My name is Mike and as ever I am your host. If you're

tuning in for the first time then welcome. Usually on this podcast we

explore and dissect the history and the evolution of the horror genre by looking at particular sub-jomras one series at a time.

We are currently in the middle of our fifth series which explores the evolution of the occult

in horror cinema.

However, this week we're taking a little break from

regular service because this week saw the release of the brand new Blumhouse Lee-Oneel

horror film The Invisible Man.

Now we've got loads of really interesting stuff to get through this week and loads

of incredible guests.

I sat down and chatted to the producer of the film, Jason Blum, the director, Lee Wone Onell and the star, the man who played the

invisible man himself Oliver Jackson Cohen. Not only that I'm going to be joined by

Rosie Fletcher to discuss the movie and as with all new releases covered on this

podcast the first half of mine and Rosie's discussion will be completely

spoiler free we will not give away any plot details we will simply give our initial thoughts and reactions on the film so anyone

can listen to that section of the discussion. Then after a big fat spoiler

warning we will then get into the nitty gritty and we will

discuss the movie in depth. Absolutely loads to get through this week and I'm

going to kick things off with my interview with Jason Blum.
