neighbor versus neighbor in the Tajik Civil War of the 1990s.

The fighters came in, but they didn't find my father.

So they took me into the courtyard and put a gun to my head, saying to my mother,

tell us where his father is. Otherwise otherwise we will kill the boy now.

Also mutiny in the ranks of the French Army during the First World War.

All the men wore great gazets. The officers were confined to a section of the village, had no authority at all.

They were prepared to occupy the line, but they weren't prepared to fight.

Plus, we get a close personal look at the life of the German urban terrorist Ulrika Meinhofe and the early days of the legendary Magnum photo agency.

It was like a club, very small, mostly somewhere where photographers could dump their equipment

and just chat and relax and go down for a coffee.

That's all to come. But we begin this week just below the surface of the human skin.

Body image has been important to men and women since the dawn of time. Ancient societies painted themselves, pierced themselves

and unnaturally extended various parts of the body. And the modern age is no exception.

Body image remains, an obsession to many. So we're going back to the

1970s and the development of a cosmetic procedure which revolutionized surgical

techniques and became a multi-million dollar industry.

Ashley Byrne has been speaking to the cosmetic surgeon Georgio Fisher

about his part in the creation of liposuction.

This was an adventure. I mean how could you think that you could get in the

body from a little three millimeter hole and start working up and down the inside.
