So the Cowboys will be playing the Panthers of Carolina.

Sunday morning, Donnie and I will have the post game for two hours after the game wraps up.

This is an interesting one because this will be our first look in person at the apple of our

eye now you recall donnie and i were up in green bay where the draft was this past april and man i

was beating the table i was beating the table for tetaroa mcmillan that's, when we were doing our draft preparation and our draft talks leading into it, I thought, man, if Ted McMillan is there, you have got to pull the trigger. He is the guy. I think Carolina surprised a lot of people by taking him at eight. And so that, of course, changed the Cowboys' plans. They ended up taking Tyler Booker a few picks later. And you pounded the table and the Cowboys were right there with you because they understood that they needed a playmaker on the outside. They needed a receiver. They wanted Ted McMillan at 12. And if he had been available, that would have been to pick. But Carolina said, nope, we've got this. Eight at eight.

Picked them at eight.

Right.

And now the, the Cowboys had to pivot.

So they had the same mindset that you did.

They did.

But they end up, of course, as I mentioned, Tyler Booker goes at 12 overall.

And as you'll recall throughout that entirety of really the Saturday of the draft, I was starting it.

But even Friday, I mean Thursday, okay, well, they'll get their wide receiver running back rounds two or three.

There's so many names on the board, this is going to be great.

And then we see how the draft plays out for the Cowboys.

And in the second round, we're sitting there, at least me. Okay, who are they going going to get there's some names on the board that you're excited about maybe it's it's trey harris the wide receiver from old miss or rj harvey the running back from UCF they were on the board no the Cowboys go edge rusher which at the time we all kind of i remember going You needed an edge. Okay. Well, round three is where they're going to make the move.

And of course, we get into round three and the Cowboys decide once again to go in a different direction than what we were sitting there hoping that they would do.

And they go with the cornerback who was injured and still has not gotten on the field for them.
