But right now we rip through some news. Yes, we've got news. Even in the supposed dead period between mini camp and the start of training camp. We had some news today.

Let's start with Ramandre Stevenson.

The Patriots running back.

It's a four-year, $36 million deal, $17 million in guarantees, according to our Ian Rappaport.

That can get up to $48 million with all of the incentives in the deal.

It is a good number for that running back market,

and the Patriots happy to reward Stevenson, whom they expect plenty of production moving forward.

So do the Jets. The Jets expect Aaron Rogers to produce.

Woody Johnson had a post today on X in which he said Rogers looked as good as ever this spring.

Now, the hidden message here is, yes, I know there was a lot of hand-wringing over the fact that Rogers wasn't here during minicamp. Everybody from ownership down in the Jets organization, not worried about that at all. I'm told there's also a possibility. Rogers could organize a throwing session with some of his targets, potentially in the next couple of weeks, to maybe catch up on potentially

lost time, but no one is worried about the misreps for Rogers inside that building. That's for

sure. And then this one, official, Trevor Lawrence, along with his wife there, signing a five-year,

$275 million contract extension that ties him with Joe Burrow at the top of the quarterback

market, $55 million per season. Other quarterbacks behind him looking to jump that number,

but for now, Lawrence on top, however, says it won't change him.
