Katie is currently an administrator

for Major League Baseball's Baseball Assistant Team, Bat, which is a charitable organization that

assists members of the baseball family in need of financial, medical, or psychological assistance.

But this story, Katie's story, isn't about baseball.

It's about survival because, quite frankly, Katie Lentz should have died.

She was in a horrific car accident.

That she survived.
