Alcatraz is one of the most infamous prisons in the world.

Robert Stroud, the Birdman,

and of course the famed escape from Alcatraz.

This small rocky outcropping has achieved fame worldwide and has become the number

one tourist destination in San Francisco and one of the most visited spots in all of the

United States.
