The British Podcast Awards are attempting to ride on the coattails and promote their own agendas by hanging on with their fingertips.

I mean, it is a little bit like how like the Brits will be like, we'll give Taylor Swift the icon of the year award. Thank you. Just so that she turns up. It's exactly that. It's like, oh, let's nominate Daddy Morris because, you know, it's the good name. What they should do then. He might turn up to our church hall in Broccoli for the, for the, no. They should have done then, really.

Like, they called it like the Icon Award or Godlight Genius. The important, God like Genius, exactly. Now I'm interesting. But there's no other nominations. It's just, they're just giving it to us. Now I'm interesting. And then we go and then it's like, that's their PR moment to get us down there. Yeah. But annoyingly, they've lumped us in with a bunch of other podcasts.
