The Senate trial of Donald J. Trump is finally very real and about to start.

After three weeks of political maneuvering during which Speaker Nancy Pelosi delayed sending

over the two articles of impeachment to House Voting last month, the Speaker pulled the trigger

and dispatched her seven newly appointed managers to formally present them to the Senate for trial.

But what kind of trial will it be?

And how will Senators vote when they are presented with that very crucial question,

whether to allow witnesses to testify and new evidence to be presented?
