Wednesday afternoon, the 6th of November. Aaron Rand will join us to talk about the effect of

population decline on the church, then Molly Hemingway of Fox News will be alongside to give us some

post-election analysis. Aaron Rin is co-founder and senior fellow at American Reformer. He's writer and consultant

in Indianapolis. He's author of the book Life in the Negative World confronting challenges

in an anti-Christian culture and a recent column titled What Happens to Churches when Population Falls.

Aaron, welcome back. Thanks for having me on. Generally, what do the numbers tell us about population decline, well, globally, but especially

here in the U.S.?

Well, it's been known for a long time that birth rates have been low in many countries around

the world in Europe, in East Asia, places like Japan, and that has started to

translate into population loss in places like Japan. For example, there aren't a huge number of

countries that are shrinking in population, but what we do see is increasing demographic weakness, including here in the United States as well.

Again, we're still a growing country.
