| 0:38.9 | Legal Studies. In this capacity she organized numerous events and conferences that really |
| 0:45.8 | raised greatly the profile of the centre and together with Professor Alan Dashwood. She was one of the |
| 0:51.5 | founding editors of the Cambridge Yearbook of European Legal |
| 0:55.1 | Studies. Angela has a distinguished career in practice and in academia. After she left Cambridge, |
| 1:02.0 | she became a reader at the University of Essex. She worked in practice and then she moved to the |
| 1:08.1 | court where she has been working since 2011. |
| 1:11.6 | She is the author of numerous publications which include a monograph on EU law remedies |
| 1:17.6 | and a string of articles in top academic journals. |
| 1:21.6 | While at the court she has continued to write in the field of EU law |
| 1:25.6 | and she is one of the editors of a hugely successful book |
| 1:28.6 | on the EU Charter on Fundamental Human Rights. |
| 1:31.7 | So I could really go on for much longer, to talk about Angela's many achievements, |
| 1:37.9 | but I know that you are all looking forward to listening to her presentation, |
| 1:42.0 | and today she's going to deal with the impact of the EU Charter on Equality |
