So we will kick things off right away with a quick overview, I think.

Let's talk about the anarchy.

Yeah, I mean, the simplest questions are usually the biggest to answer, aren't they? So the anarchy is essentially in a nutshell, a almost two-decade long civil war in England

and Normandy between 1135 and 1153-ish on the years.

Obviously, it starts around the 1130s and ends in the 1150s.

In a nutshell, again, it's between two rival claimants to the throne of England
