Did you do that thing that the Dutch King and Queen did where you went on holiday very controversially the day the lockdown started?

To be fair, I didn't know the lockdown was coming when it was indeed announced that evening.

And it was a bit awkward because we were staying this very nice little village in Brittany.

And I feel like they thought we were like Jeremy Parisians coming in to like infect the village.

Awkward.

But was it lovely?

It was lovely.

Yeah, I just clambered over the rocks in Brittany in northwest France for a few days and ate a lot of seafood and generally had a lovely time.

Having said that, it has been quite an extreme week.

There's been some good stuff and bad stuff.

I'm afraid I've got some bad news for you.

Oh.

You know that lovely prize that we won a couple of years ago, the Spinelli Prize?

Yeah.

And they gave us that big certificate in a frame.

Yeah.

There's no easy way to tell you this, but it's covered in human excrement.
