Each week I will be addressing one commonly asked question or topic on homeschooling based on my 25 years experience homeschooling 8 kids from the beginning! These podcasts will be shorter in length, perfect for busy moms! Today I am talking about when life gets messy. How do we reconcile that with living the homeschool life? 0:00.0	Hey, moms, welcome to this week's podcast. I am Dorenda Wilson. I am a wife to one and a mom to eight,
0:17.8	a nana to six, and actually recently just added a 17-year-old to our family.
0:25.5	And I'm going to be talking about that in just a minute.
0:28.6	I'm also the author of The Unhurried Homestchooler and of Unhurried Grace for a Mom's Heart.

0:40.1	on Amazon. Now, for those of you who follow me regularly, you've probably noticed that I have been
0:48.3	reading entries from my devotional on Hurry Grace for a Mom's Heart, and I've been adding those
0:53.8	to my devotional series called Grace grace for a mom's heart, and I've been adding those to my devotional
0:55.2	series called Grace for a Mom's Heart that is on the podcast here. That's a category that I have,
1:03.3	that just has a whole bunch of devotionals, and many of those recently have included ones
1:07.5	from my book Unhurried Grace for Mom's Heart. Now, the reason I've been doing that is
1:13.4	because I have been busy finishing a book. I have a contract with Zondervan to publish a brand new
1:21.4	book in 2021. It's not until June because apparently there is a lot that has to happen even once the book is
1:29.2	written. There's editing and there's marketing and all these different things that have to happen.
1:34.2	And I'm still on a learning curve with that and just kind of along for the ride now that I've
1:39.7	turned in the manuscript. So I was busy writing that manuscript over the last several weeks. I felt like
1:44.9	God wanted me to really just pour my heart and soul into it. And so I wasn't doing a lot of new
1:51.8	content for the podcast. But now that the manuscript is in, I am excited to be back and bringing
1:58.6	some brand new content to you, other than my devotional.
2:05.1	So here is what is going to be happening. I am going to be doing something that I've done quite a bit
2:12.7	in the past, and that is to have a guest on once a week, someone who is just a specialist in their field.
2:22.3	So I've had lots of different guests on so far. I have a great lineup coming up.
