In this episode, we're going to continue conversation I'm having with Tim Mackey about the Holy

Spirit.

If you haven't listened to the previous episode, I highly recommend it.

We're going to pick up where we left off.

In the last episode, we talked about Ruaq being Wind, Breath, and Spirit.

A word used for all three of those concepts.

In this episode, we're going to pick up and talk about a fourth meaning of the word Ruaq,

which is Man's Spirit.

What does it mean for humans to have a Spirit?

And how is that different from the Breath of Life?

Then we talk about the three main activities of the Holy Spirit and the Old Testament.

Last episode, we talked at length about the first one, which is the Spirit involved in

creating and sustaining all of life.

We'll talk about the second activity, which is God empowering people for specific tasks.

Spirit is something that keeps you alive.

You live by the Spirit, but then he says it, you can also get out of step with the Spirit.

So the Spirit never leaves any living creature in the sense that it keeps them alive.

But you can be filled with the Spirit of Life, but not be in tune with the Spirit of God.

And then we talk about the third activity, which is God's Spirit recreating the world and humanity itself.

What's going to have to happen to humanity so that we become people who truly love God and love others?
