Once someone becomes a child of God, are they forever a child of God?

and the story of Samson is a grand illustration of that fact.

as we've just heard from pasture, teacher, and author Adrian Rogers,

while a child of God is kept by the power of God for salvation,

he has so much to lose if he sins. Judges, Chapter 13 through 16 tells the story of Samson, a Nazarite who was set aside by

God for a purpose. He'd been anointed with tremendous supernatural strength through the

Holy Spirit. However, Samson was a bundle of

contradictions. His story is not ultimately about his physical, mental, and

spiritual strength, rather it's the cautionary tale of wasted potential.

Take God's word and find now please, if you will, the Book of Judges, Chapter 13. And look look with me if you will in verse 24 it speaks

of a mother and it says this and the woman bear a son and called his name Samson and the child grew and the Lord blessed him. She held in her arms the baby for which she

had prayed.
