All right, gosh, I'm not really used to seeing real people when I talk anymore, it used

to be the camera that was so weird, it was looking at this like dead fish.

Now I'm like, real people, it's, well, we're going to talk about progressive Christianity

today, but let me explain the approach I'm going to take because I completely revamped

over the last week of just marinating in this stuff, everything I was in this share with

you.

So, let me tell a little story, which I like never do when I start my studies.

The story is this, I was about 16 years old, my mom had all these symptoms.

She was a single mom at the time, right, and had all these symptoms, it was just the two

of us in the house, and my sister had already gone crazy and moved out, and for two separate

things that went on there.

My mom is, her stomach is really sick, she's throwing up, and she's taking tons, it's not helping,

she's laying down, it's not helping, it's just getting worse, she's groaning, I hear her groaning

from the other room.

So, finally, I think we have to figure out what's wrong with her, like I'm going to figure this out,

and some of you remember the medical books that you would pull out rather than Google,

which I would argue are probably a better resource because Google creates all kinds of paranoia.

Google is like, worst case scenario, I guess the first thing you get, but we open the medical book,

and I'm looking at all of her symptoms, and it's like the medical books, like telling me,

is there abdomen soft, or is it hard?

Are the things I would never think to ask, and we ended up finding she has a appendicitis,

all the symptoms of appendicitis, and I'm like, mom, you have to go, I'm going to drive you,
