And we have a guest who is absolutely loaded with information.

How are you?

Hey, good to be with you again, Gary. I am looking here at a film, the untold history of the

Bible. Now, what a title. There is a lot of untold history, and you have really done the job when it comes to looking at the

historical development of what we call the Bible. There it is, on a living room bookcase,

and we pass it 15 times a day and we don't think about what an absolute treasure is there.

Well, watching this particular movie of yours, I get the real, I think the real feeling of what a treasure the Bible is.

Well, that's what we were hoping to communicate with the film,

is really to inspire an audience to recognize the great sacrifices that so many men went through,

and women as well.

I always think of the Apostle, Paul and Barnabas, who, when they had the controversy over circumcision, and they chose to send

Barnabas and Saul, as he was called back then, to speak to the Gentiles about circumcision

and how they didn't necessarily need to get circumcised because they were saved by the grace of God.

But they wrote in the letter that they said, we're sending our brothers, Barnabas and Saul,

men who have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And that's really the character of the men who hazarded their lives and laid down their lives in the case of men like William Tyndale for the sake of the Word of God so that they could translate the Holy Scriptures into the languages of the common people so that people would have access to God's Holy Word, that they would know the way of salvation,

that they would understand the gospel of grace, and how Christ died for our sins according to the
