I'm excited to be here and have this conversation.

Yeah. So how did you get interested in dermatology? Yeah. You know, it's funny. If you had

asked me this over a decade ago, I would have just said, oh, because dermatology. Yeah, you know, it's funny. If you would ask me this over a decade

ago, I would have just said, oh, because dermatology was so interesting. You could do medicine.

You could do peds. You could do surgery. You could do pathology and all the things. So I never had to

make a decision. But in full transparency, about 12 years ago, my own health started falling apart.

Ooh, boy.

Do you want to disclose what happened?

Yeah, yeah.

So as a dermatologist, it was very humbling.

The focus of my career at that time was skin cancer melanoma.
