Summary

A short episode to help people begin or continue to conquer their fear of hell being real and them going there.  It's just Karen, and it's short. And no real laughs. But we promised, so here it is. Our regular type of podcast will be released at its regular time. Bye, bishes.

Hey, this is Karen from Deconversion Therapy, and we're going to offer something a little bit

0:14.7

different. This is going to be just me. Sorry about that. Talking to you about overcoming the fear of hell. One reason

0:24.9

is because this is going to be something short that you can listen to at night, like a lullaby,

0:32.3

especially because that can be when our heads and our imaginations start running amok.

0:40.5

And also because a lot of you have asked about how to overcome this fear of going to hell,

0:47.9

even though your beliefs are starting to wane or change, deconstruct.

0:53.7

There's that word, got to put it in, and also because I experience

0:58.8

this very deeply as compared to Bonnie. The first thing I recommend if you're contemplating

1:08.1

1:48.6

that you do. I pray that you do. And that might help start to ease your mind as you go into some

1:55.8

bigger doubts and questioning. Now for some facts. I'm not going to trigger more things in our memories,

2:06.0

and our minds and our imaginations, but I do want to go over that the fear of hell is universal

2:13.8

across all religions nearly. So you're not alone. This is what most people battle with

2:22.1

in one way or another. You are going to battle with it according to how long and how deep your

2:29.3

indoctrination was, as well as your own personality. You know, what kind of fears do you usually hold on to?

2:38.9

And you need to know that when we were taught these frightening things, I mean, there's nothing

2:46.8

scarier, right? And you're learning this when you're a very young kid, that that kind of

2:53.0

fear releases adrenaline and cortisol. So our bodies are used to hearing the words,
