and a blessed New Year. Welcome to our Friday's episode of the Gospel Truth.

You know, during this Christmas time, we started on Wednesday playing one of the performances

that we have here at our Carus Bible College.

We actually do about four or five performances per year and sometimes even little portions of it other times during the year. But at Christmas,

we always have this program that we call the Heart of Christmas, and I tell you, it's awesome.

So I started playing that on Wednesday. I played a portion of it yesterday. We're going to play

the conclusion of it today. And it's about the fourth wise man of course this is not biblical it's

extra biblical it's a story about a person who wasn't able to go with his three

friends the wise man who went and visited Jesus and so this man had been searching

for over 30 years in the process he helped people along the way and he actually

became a leper himself, and when he finally

contacts Jesus, it's right at the crucifixion. He thought he lost it all. But Jesus' mother

comes to him and said, no, when you gave to these other people, and you gave of your life

and you sacrificed for other people. It's like you did it

unto my son. And that is the real heart of Christmas. It's not about what you receive. It's about

what you give. Greater love has an old man than this and he lays down his life for his friends.
