Summary
From abandoned farmhouses to shipwrecked souls, Brad Blair has spent a lifetime chasing what others run from.
As a teen in Michigan’s upper peninsula, Brad spent his nights exploring the forgotten corners of the state — broken barns, shadowed fields, and the echoes of history that refused to die. Armed with a Ouija board and teenage curiosity, he and his friends sought out spirits and found more than they bargained for.
Years later, Brad turned his passion into a profession, founding the Upper Peninsula Paranormal Research Society. In this episode of The Grave Talks, Brad takes us inside some of his most haunting investigations — including a chilling encounter at a shipwreck museum, where many believe the spirit of the Edmund Fitzgerald still lingers.
Join us for tales of haunted waters, restless spirits, and the enduring mystery of Michigan’s ghostly north. This is Part Two of our conversation.

| 0:00.0 | Welcome to part two of our interview with Brad Blair about the ghosts of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. |
| 0:07.0 | One of the guys takes a snapshot of the mirror and Bob the psychic. |
| 0:15.5 | And you can see that the guy standing behind him that you can see in the mirror is holding a video camera. So the |
| 0:21.6 | video camera goes dead. This guy takes a snapshot. As soon as he takes that, the batteries and his |
| 0:27.1 | still camera go dead. At the same time, all of a sudden there's a haze like somebody was breathing |
| 0:32.8 | on this mirror. And we have the picture of it. It looks something like a man's bearded face. I'm not |
| 0:40.4 | saying it's not just that we were all in there and the temperature kicked up in the humidity or |
| 0:45.5 | whatever, but it was exactly what they had described to us. And you couple that with the |
| 0:51.6 | battery drainage and the psychic sensitive, who claimed that it was happening at the time. |
| 0:58.0 | And we had three or four different occurrences right there to really kick things up for us. |
| 1:04.0 | So we were excited. We got everything going. |
| 1:07.0 | We got new batteries out. Luckily, we brought a lot of batteries because if we wanted to run to a store from this location, it would have been 20-25-minute drive each way. |
| 1:17.6 | So we reloaded and we got going and we brought some old, not old, but cheap cigars and thought we'd give the captain a salute. So we had our equipment set and we let the cameras run inside and we stepped outside in the side yard. |
| 1:34.3 | And all of the people that worked at the lighthouse had left. |
| 1:37.3 | They gave us the whole run of the place by ourselves for the night, which still amazes me when people do that, |
| 1:43.3 | especially some of these old |
| 1:44.5 | historic places with the artifacts. |
| 1:46.8 | And to just trust us that much, it really humbles us. |
| 1:51.3 | And we still really appreciate when people do that. |
| 1:54.6 | So we have the whole run of Sishwa Point Lighthouse to ourselves. |
| 1:57.7 | And we were going to smoke these cheap cigars and stand off to the side |
| 2:01.6 | and salute the captain. Thank you for having us here, Captain Townsend. We know you like the good cigar. |
