We start off this morning with news that developers of the second largest blockchain Ethereum have set a target of March for a much anticipated feature as part of the so-called Shanghai upgrade. The standout addition will be the ability to withdraw ether staked as part of the new proof of state consensus process, which in some cases has been

locked up since the launch of the beacon chain a couple of years ago. It's actually a pretty big deal,

and now we have a planned date, although that may slip, as we've seen in the past. The devs also made

plans for another upgrade in the fall of next year, where they intend to introduce a scaling solution

known as Proto-Dank sharding, which of course is always worth a mention just because it's a fun name to say.
