Tresikatum, you put it this way, that all Kamala Harris has to prove is that a woman can lead,

that a black woman can be qualified,

that a South Asian woman can come to feel familiar,

that a childless woman can become a nation's mamala, and that a Gen X sensibility can resonate with boomers.

Easy, easy enough.

Can it be done?

Or has she done it already?

She has certainly made an admirable start.

I will tell you, this campaign just rhetorically and strategically, you know, I want to put

aside the politics for a moment because I think there are lots of fair debates and critiques

to have about the politics, but I think rhetorically and strategically what this

what this campaign has done so far is absolutely stunning.

You know one of the reasons I wrote that is because we were barreling so fast towards this candidacy because of how it started, right,

with Joe Biden's withdrawal, that I was not concerned, but I wanted to make sure that we were taking time to acknowledge how

amazing and historical the presentation of Kamala Harris has been given how rare her candidacy is and how unprecedented it is and how we don't even

have a language or an idea in American public life for what it is she is trying to do.
