This is an awesome, awesome segment we're about to do because Bob has dug in to the 1975 Cowboys as we're entering the 50-year anniversary of this storied franchise that year at least.

Yeah, I got really excited because late May was the Cowboys annual tryout camp.

And when you read about it, you're like, what was that even like?

But thankfully, there's video now, like, between the Dallas Morning News and the Channel 8 archives,

you can actually begin to, like, reassemble things that happened 50 years ago and sort of see what it actually looked like.

So here's the story in the newspaper from May 21st, 1975.

And I sent this to you and George the other day because I thought you two in particular would be super excited.

And maybe if everything fell right, you might even think,

you know what, I'm going to try out for the Dallas Cowboys.

Maybe I'll make the team.

Yes.

In the story, it's a short one.

The Dallas Cowboys will hold a try trial camp this Saturday, May 24th,

for men interested in a professional football career. Guys, men. Can I find anyone that can respond

who might have been interested in a professional football career? Would anybody? Sure. Or do you

prefer watching?
