This is the ticket, and it is sort of Cowboy Monday, Tuesday, but it's after the trade deadline.

And it's just been one of those weird news days here as trade deadline follows a Monday night debacle in a game that the Cowboys were never in.

It was really a depressing game of football.

To a point where even if you think the trades are probably throwing good money after bad,

I still think it's the pallet cleanser that was desperately needed after that horrendous performance.

And that's the greatest fear I have with why trades are made from a Jerry Jones perspective.

Is it simply to shut everyone up and mask what just went on?

Yeah, this is sometimes lost in the why do you guys give up the fact, you know, just give up.

He's never going to stop being GM.

And this is why it's important for anybody that cares about this franchise to stay on that hill that this thing can only succeed

if he is not in charge of personnel because if he is in charge of personnel and he is also

the owner who is worried about the value and the relevance and the tickets being sold and everything, well, then you can see how those

two lanes intersect all the time.

And you're right.

If you sense that public trust is down or public interest is down or frustration is up,

well, then you just say, well, let's just do something that the fans will

really love.

We'll trade for somebody.
