And we begin with a rescue in southern Slovenia. On Monday five people were

freed from a cave where they had been trapped since Saturday. A family of three

adults and their two guides have been visiting a chain of underground

lakes at the Krijama cave when water levels rose and blocked their way out. This was the moment

when Max Morela, a member of Slovenia's Cave Rescue Service, spoke to the

BBC's James Reynolds right after the rescue was over.

It was almost three days of efforts of our Cave Rescue Service team

and also the national team rescue and we are really glad and

happy that this scenario was finished in this way. Was it complicated to rescue these five people? Yeah it was very complex

raining the blast past days and the racing of water actually closed the cave in
