It's insulting that I think, if true, it will have set you on a course starting a year ago that you probably alienated your best player to leave town.

The Tigers and Terrick Scouble appear to be drifting apart.

After a report last week in the New York Post, which we talked about, that the sides are

250 million apart in contract negotiations, a follow-up report revealed the Tigers, shockingly

low, offered a scoble a year ago.

Now, a year ago, I want you to remember, the only thing that came out was the Tigers made

a, quote, non-competitive offer.

Now, we talked about how generally that would come out from the agent's side, and most offers would be termed that way.

When I read you what this offer is, if this is true, it's a complete embarrassment to this

franchise. It's an embarrassment if it's true.

The Tigers, according to this report from John Heyman,

offered Terrick Scoobull four years at less than $80 million.
