0:00.0	On February 11, 2010, a truck driver passing through Greensburg, Pennsylvania noticed something
0:07.4	strange sticking out of a garbage can in the parking lot of Greensburg sale a middle school.
0:13.5	While initially his first thought was to ignore it and continue on with his evening, he felt
0:18.4	strangely compelled to go and investigate the situation.
0:22.6	What he didn't realize at the time, however, was that upon peering into that garbage can,
0:27.8	he would be involving himself in one of the most gruesome crimes the state had ever seen.
0:33.4	Why was that?
0:34.7	Well, stuffed unceremoniously inside the refuse container was none other than the body
0:40.0	of 30-year-old Jennifer Dockerti, and this wasn't even the worst part because, while
0:45.5	any case of murder is horrific, it would later become apparent that this situation was
0:50.7	on another level of brutality entirely.
0:54.2	An investigation would reveal that, in the hours leading up to her death, Jennifer, who
0:59.8	was herself mentally disabled and would be deemed to have the capacity of a child, would
1:04.9	have been tortured by her captors in the most degrading and inhumane way imaginable.

1:24.2	The death of this disabled young woman is a tough one to listen to, but nevertheless,
1:42.6	it's also a necessary one to remember as, given how horrendous her final hours were,
1:47.8	the least history can do for Jennifer Dockerti is keep her story alive, and this story would
1:53.1	start for her back in November of 1979, as it was then she was born into a loving family
1:59.2	in the Mount Pleasant borough of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

2:08.6	a mental disability which saw her peers quickly exceed her intellectually, she found herself
