On February 11, 2010, a truck driver passing through Greensburg, Pennsylvania noticed something

strange sticking out of a garbage can in the parking lot of Greensburg sale a middle school.

While initially his first thought was to ignore it and continue on with his evening, he felt

strangely compelled to go and investigate the situation.

What he didn't realize at the time, however, was that upon peering into that garbage can,

he would be involving himself in one of the most gruesome crimes the state had ever seen.

Why was that?

Well, stuffed unceremoniously inside the refuse container was none other than the body

of 30-year-old Jennifer Dockerti, and this wasn't even the worst part because, while

any case of murder is horrific, it would later become apparent that this situation was

on another level of brutality entirely.

An investigation would reveal that, in the hours leading up to her death, Jennifer, who

was herself mentally disabled and would be deemed to have the capacity of a child, would

have been tortured by her captors in the most degrading and inhumane way imaginable.
