Would you turn to Romans please the 14th chapter?

We've been talking about the joy of faith.

The joy of faith.

In Romans 14 and 17, he said, for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink.

He says what it's not.

Then he says, but it's righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Hallelujah.

Now, we've been talking a lot about joy and peace.

You might say, what's the, you know, righteousness is the first word.

That's because without righteousness, you don't get to peace or the joy.

What do you mean?

Well, there's no rest and peace to the wicked.

The Bible says to the ungodly, to the unrighteous.

Their lives and their souls and their emotions are like turbulent, muddy waters, the

scriptures describes.

And unless you know that you're right with God and things are right as you're walking with him,

you won't have peace.

You won't have joy.

So the basis for our peace and our joy is righteousness. And's not what we've done but it's his righteousness

that he just so freely gave us. Said out loud, I have been made the righteousness of God

in Christ. He was made sin for us who knew no sin.

Was he really made sin?
