Romans chapter 13 verses 1 through 7 we are in a third installment of this section very very important

does government and God coalesce or is government and God opposed what does the say? And for those of you who have been here

from the previous weeks, we know that there are the sacred institutions created by God.

One of them is, of course, marriage, the Bible says. The other one is the, what I say,

ecclesia. People, I get it, people will say

the church, but it's more accurate to say the body of believers, because the church is made

up of Jew and Gentile alike. Don't think church as the institution that God created that is

just Gentile. No, no, no. It is the church of the Lord Jesus Christ,

the bride of Christ, and according to the Bible, she is made up of Jew and Gentile alike.

And so that's a sacred institution created by God. There's a trinity of them. Marriage, the

gathering of the believers, and the Bible tells us,

governments is an institution created by God.

And so Paul takes it upon himself, of course, directed by the Holy Spirit to teach us,

what is the believer's relationship to the governments that you and I live in and around or under?

So, Romans chapter 13, I'll begin in verse 1, if you'll pick it up nice and loud in verse 2.

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God.

And the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

Therefore, whoever resists the authority, resist the ordinance of God, and those who resist

will bring judgment on themselves.

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil.

Do you want to be unafraid of the authority?
