It's a huge study over 22,000 adults and it shows a lot of interesting results.

Some might surprise you, some might not, but roughly 3 and 10 Americans qualify as Christian nationalism adherence or sympathizers.

Three in 10, and then residents of red states,

it's much, much higher.

Nearly four in 10 residents of red states

are Christian nationalists.

And of course, on the whole, Christian nationalism is strongly linked to Republican Party affiliation and holding favorable views of Donald Trump.

that our laws should be based on Christian values, but not the teachings of Jesus, just his fan club's favorites.
