When you're a child and you grow up in a haunted house, it can be very normal.

Why is that?

Because those are the years that you are essentially defining your compass of what is going to be normal.

You are configuring in your mind the norms.

This is the line that is normal. Anything beyond it is a bit

out there and is going to raise your eyebrows and anything on the other side falls into normal.

And if you're always experiencing ghosts and haunting activity, that falls behind the line of

normal for you if it's just part of what you're seeing and experiencing every single day.

So when you go through haunting experiences, what an adult who has never had those experiences may make them scream and run

and hide and terror if it's something that you normally have going on. I'm like, okay, I guess

it's normal for the ghost girl to show up and sit next to me while we watch cartoons.

Okay, that must happen. I'm assuming this happens to everybody.

There's a lot of that that goes on in your mind as a child of the assumption of this must happen.

Okay, well, I didn't know that this happened, so this must happen too.

You just kind of get used to it as you start to make those realizations.

In the next story, we hear a recounted version of one's childhood as they look back and talk about the experiences that they had, a very haunted childhood, one that may seem extreme and scary

to many, but to this person, nope, this is just how it was.

It's a very interesting perspective when it comes to the undead.
